Love inspires me, the ocean inspires me, chalky mermaid teal inspires me, words inspire me, challenges inspire me, hearts and bows and the infinity shape inspire me, sentimental trinkets inspire me, layers of white/taupe/cream inspire me, sunsets and sunrises inspire me, the rumble of storms inspire me, nature inspires me, a gentle understanding inspires me, the color of the sky and the clouds inspire me….

A new year is just around the corner. Are you thinking about New Year’s Resolutions? What are you resolved to do? Or not do? How long will your resolve last? A week, a month, a day?

How about this… cut yourself some slack. Go to bed earlier, go to the movies, make out, make love, make more love, whine less, get some rest, get some sleep, have some fun. Jump in a puddle, jump on the bed, dance in the rain, take a walk, take some vitamins, shake off the winter blues with a beach party, feel good, feel better, get a puppy, get a hobby, be creative.

Tell your inner critic to take a hike.

Make this new year the year you celebrate you. Make it the year you accept all the great things about you. All of the great things. All year long.

Brownie Bit BONBONS

Looking for a quick and easy way to bring a fun dessert to your New Year’s Eve party? Here we go…

Make a pan of brownies. Let cool. Cut shapes out of the brownies using cookie cutters. Hearts, circles, stars… whatever you wish.

Roll the brownie bits that are left into 1 inch balls. Drop into a ziplock bag of confectioner’s sugar. Shake until completely coated.
