Soapy Kitchen Concoctions to SPRITZ

Homemade Fabric Refresher Recipe

Homemade Fabric Refresher Recipe

Here we gooo… A 20 cent recipe for a $5ish fabric refresher got my attention. I want my house to smell good. $5 good. If I can get a 20 cent soapy kitchen concoction to smell like a $5 one, I’m all in.

The recipe is easy enough. Add 1/8 cup liquid fabric softener and 2 tbsp. baking soda to enough hot water to fill your spray bottle. I used my old Febreze bottle, as it was handy and empty. Bonus! As you can see in the pic, I added the fabric softener and baking soda to a cup of water so that would be easy to pour into the spray bottle. I really need to find my funnel.

So far, so good. I’ve spritzed and sprayed and there have been no disasters so far. Can’t beat that! I’m going to try more recipes for this one. I’ve seen a couple but I don’t remember them exactly. One had vinegar in it, and another had a choice of essential oil in it. More on those later. Happy spritzing!
